About the IDRiM Journal Awards

The IDRIM Journal Committee announces two new awards that will be presented at the annual IDRIM Conferences. Before the conference, the Committee sends out a call for nominations for each of the awards. Both awards, and the previous years’ awardees are presented above.

Article of the Year Award

The Article of the Year Award is selected based on criteria that include originality of the work, contribution to the field, and expected impact to society. All authors in the prior calendar year of the conference (for example, June 1, 2023 to May 31, 2024) are automatically considered. Award decisions are made by a panel of judges that includes members from the editorial boad.

Landmark Article Award

The Landmark Article Award is given to the most cited paper in the IDRiM Journal. Eligibility: author(s) of an article published in IDRiM Journal that has reached a minimum of 50 citations via Google Scholar and/or ISI Web of Science. Award decisions are made by a panel of judges that includes members from the editorial boad.

Questions about the awards can be emailed to IDRIM Journal editor Hamilton Bean at hamilton.bean@ucdenver.edu
